Multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter PIERS blends driving harmonies, strings, and traditional songwriting in his music, touching on the familiar whilst evoking the unknown. Based in London, PIERS grew up in a musical household listening to Ray Charles, The Beach Boys, The Verve, Radiohead, Elvis & Michael Jackson from his older brothers and Fathers record collection. Already a proficient pianist & cellist he started writing music at 14 and has since taught himself how to play guitar and bass. After studying songwriting at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) he went on to join his friend, the late Rob Skipper (The Holloways) in his then new project The Musical Differences before expanding his horizons in joining dark electro pop group Strangers. Interested in fronting his own project, he began producing and started focusing fully on writing again. His Debut EP ‘FALL’ is a collaboration with producer Adam Burke (Molotov Jukebox, The Insatiable, Square Pegs) out April 2018.
